SUMMARY:Barcelona Journaling Festival
DESCRIPTION:Bildungsurlaub “Im Flow mit Yoga & Mosaik” in Bernried \n \n \n \n \n\n	\n	\n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Discover a state of calm and focus through movement and creative expression\, slow down the pace of everyday life through flow\, and strengthen your own resilience. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Spaces are limited - reserve your spot today!\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Overview \n \n \n \n Amid the demands of a fast-paced daily life\, we need spaces where we can find calm and grounding — both inwardly and outwardly. This educational retreat combines the mindful body practice of yoga with the creative power of mosaic art\, creating an experience that harmoniously unites movement\, breath\, and artistic expression. The morning yoga sessions — including gentle flows\, breathing techniques (pranayama)\, and meditation — provide the physical and mental foundation for a clear and balanced day. Yoga enhances body awareness\, mobility\, and stability\, regulates the nervous system\, and supports inner balance. Through mindfulness practices and silent meditation\, you will learn to become more present\, focused\, and resilient to stress in everyday working life. Breathing exercises help restore energy or consciously induce relaxation — practical tools that can easily be integrated into daily routines. The afternoon mosaic sessions invite you to rearrange fragments\, playfully combine colors and shapes\, and gradually create a unique piece of art. Both disciplines strengthen concentration\, resilience\, and the ability to approach challenges in professional life with greater clarity\, calmness\, and creativity. Working with the hands opens a space for reflection and new perspectives — whether individually or in exchange with the group. Yoga provides the physical and mental foundation to remain open and present throughout the process. Together\, the week becomes an experience in which stress can dissolve\, inner order can emerge\, and creative joy can be rediscovered. Through the combination of yoga and mosaic art\, a powerful interplay of movement\, stillness\, and creative practice unfolds. You will develop routines that strengthen resilience\, foster inner clarity\, and help you meet challenges with greater calm\, focus\, and creativity. At the end of the week\, you will take home not only your own mosaic artwork\, but also simple and effective yoga and breathing practices\, along with inspiration for greater mindfulness\, creativity\, and self-efficacy in everyday life. This educational retreat is open to anyone wishing to combine movement\, mindfulness\, and creative expression — whether working in health-related\, educational\, therapeutic\, social\, or artistic fields\, in leadership positions\, or entirely independent of profession. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Course Content \n \n \n \n This seminar offers practice-oriented learning methods and exercise sessions that enable the effective transfer and integration of what has been learned: Yoga sessions (Vinyasa flows\, breathing techniques\, meditation) that can easily be practiced at home or in the workplace — for quick relaxation\, energy building\, or improved sleep.Introduction to the basics of mosaic art: concept development\, use of color\, composition\, materials\, and tools.Mosaic work as a method to enter a creative flow in everyday life and reduce stress.Ideas for implementing mosaic projects at home — from coasters to larger projects — using simple materials and a small budget.Opportunity to integrate personal found objects (old dishes\, beach finds\, keepsakes)\, allowing everyday items or heirlooms to be creatively repurposed.A shared meditative walk to collect materials — an exercise that can later be repeated alone or with others to consciously connect with nature.Inspiration on how mosaic work can also be applied in team settings\, with family\, or in educational contexts.Material ideas and tool tips to continue working at home (including the use of mosaic cutting pliers).Recognized as an educational leave course (Bildungsurlaub / Bildungszeit) in: Baden-Württemberg\, Hesse\, North Rhine-Westphalia\, Rhineland-Palatinate\, Saarland\, Schleswig-Holstein. Recognition possible in: Berlin\, Brandenburg\, Bremen\, Lower Saxony\, Saxony-Anhalt\, Thuringia. \n \n \n \n Meet Your Hosts\n \n \n \n \n This seminar is led by two passionate and dedicated women who bring together years of experience in yoga\, movement and mosaic art. Miriam Bastisch – Mosaic Artist & Founder of mused mosaikMiriam has spent over a decade exploring the beauty and depth of mosaic art. She studied at the renowned Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Italy and trained in traditional techniques across Europe\, developing her unique artistic language inspired by architecture\, nature\, and the power of transformation. Through her work at mused mosaik\, she has guided numerous workshops and projects\, always focusing on the meditative\, intuitive\, and expressive aspects of mosaic-making. Her love for Gaudí’s Trencadís technique and her ability to turn broken pieces into vibrant art will inspire you throughout the retreat. Website: https://www.mused-mosaik.de/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/miriambastisch/  Martha Griese – Yoga Teacher & Founder of Martha’s Elements of YogaMartha’s teaching is inspired by nature and mindful connection\, while her yoga classes are creative and ever-evolving. With experience in Vinyasa\, Yin\, Aerial and Yogaboard\, she encourages students to explore their own rhythm\, integrating meditation\, journaling and breathwork for deeper awareness. Much like Gaudí’s flowing architecture\, her approach balances strength and fluidity\, structure and playfulness. Through breath-led movement and reflection\, yoga becomes an artistic expression\, mirroring the transformation found in both mosaic-making and nature. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marthas_elements_of_yoga/ Together\, Miriam and Martha will guide you through a retreat where movement and artistic expression intertwine\, creating a truly immersive and transformative experience. More than just a practice\, this journey invites you to explore new perspectives  both within yourself and through your creative work. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Miriam Bastisch\n \n \n \n \n \n Martha Griese\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n All Levels Welcome\n \n \n \n \n No prior experience is needed – whether you’re a seasoned artist or yogi\, or completely new to both\, this seminar is designed for all levels. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Yoga\n \n \n \n \n Yoga at this seminar is more than just movement – it’s an artistic exploration of flow\, balance and transformation. The yoga sessions will guide you through fluid sequences\, grounding postures and mindful breathwork\, mirroring the harmony of nature and creativity. Expect a mix of dynamic Vinyasa flows\, gentle Yin yoga and meditative practices\, all designed to support your artistic journey and personal growth. We’ll begin by reviewing sketches and design ideas\, drawing from the natural rhythms and shapes that surround us. Through hands-on practice\, you’ll learn to cut and arrange fragments\, place your first mosaic pieces with care\, and discover techniques for creating flowing transitions and organic movement in your design. Just like in yoga\, mosaic art is about presence\, process and trusting your own creative flow. With individual guidance and gentle inspiration\, you’ll be supported in bringing your unique vision to life – one piece at a time. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Bildungshaus St. Martin at Bernried Monastery \n \n \n \n The Bildungshaus St. Martin at Bernried Monastery is set in a spacious garden directly on the shores of Lake Starnberg\, bordering the adjacent Bernrieder Park\, offering a peaceful natural environment.
